About Beth Phoenix - The Moves

Slingshot Suplex
Beth locks a front facelock on her opponent and lifts them into the air with a vertical suplex. She stalls the move before dropping the opponent forwards where their legs bounce off the top rope and Beth immediately snaps off a suplex. Beth has used this move on WWE Raw on Mickie James.

Millitary Press
Beth places one hand on the groin and one on the collar of her opponent before lifting them into the air above her head and holding them there in a display of strength. She then throws her opponent down to the mat. Beth has used this move at WWE Unforgiven on Candice Michelle.

Muscle Buster
Beth stops the opponent from offense on the second rope before placing their head on her shoulder, bending them forwards. Beth hooks both legs of her opponent and lifts them away from the turnbuckle. Beth carries the opponent around in the ring before throwing herself down on her back. This move has effects on the neck and back of the opponent; it is most commonly linked with Samoa Joe. Beth has used this move against Serena on OVW tv.

Cradle Suplex
Beth gets her opponent in a fisherman's suplex style lift, but pauses at full vertical extension, she has her hands linked, differing this suplex from a fisherman's. Beth stalls before slamming down the suplex, putting her weight on the opponent for extra effect. Beth uses this move as her finishing maneuver on WWE Raw and has used it on Candice Michelle and Maria various times.

Beth Valley Driver
Beth lifts the opponent onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry position, she holds onto their legs and the back of their head before jumping into the air and landing on her side, executing a Death Valley Driver. A change of name to the Death Valley Driver, the Beth Valley Driver was Beth's finishing maneuver on the indies.

Down in Flames
Beth lifts her opponent onto one shoulder with their head directed at the floor and their face pointed inwards. Beth then lifts the opponent off her shoulder before quickly dropping down into a seated position and dropping the opponent on their back. Beth would often couple this with a rollup, simply lifting the opponent's legs to mimmick the pinning position of a victory roll. Beth used this as her finishing maneuver in OVW.

Super Samoan Driver
Beth lifts the opponent onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry and ascends to the second turnbuckle. She swings the opponent around and down as she jumps to the floor in a sitting position landing the opponent on their neck and back. Beth's most notable use of this move was in her match against Trinity in OVW where she ended the match with it.

Double Samoan Drop
Beth stops two opponents from executing a superplex on eachother, dragging the one on the offensive onto her shoulders with a fireman's carry. Beth then shoves them into the gut of the other opponent, causing them to fall ontop of the other, both on Beth's shoulders. Beth then carries them out into the middle of the ring before slamming down onto her back with a samoan drop.

Double Beth Valley Driver
Beth stops two opponents from executing a superplex on eachother, dragging the one on the offensive onto her shoulders with a fireman's carry. Beth then shoves them into the gut of the other opponent, causing them to fall ontop of the other, both on Beth's shoulders. Beth carries her opponents out into the middle of the ring before slamming down onto her shoulders in a sideways motion, hitting a Beth Valley Driver on the pair.

Phoenix Throw
Beth catches a running attack from her opponent and simply throws them away infront of her and into the air, allowing them to drop to the mat after their brief flight. Beth's most notably used this on WWE Raw against Candice Michelle and Maria, it was used in order to show her immense strength.

Glam Slam
Also referred to as a wheelbarrow sit-out face crusher, the move involves Beth hooking her arms over the legs of her opponent so the opponent is faced down infront of her, then Beth leans back, lifting her opponent's body into the air before quickly jumping up and sitting down while leaning forward so the opponent's face, parallel with Beth's legs, hits the mat unprotected. Beth began using this move as her finishing maneuver on Raw against Maria in May 2008. Beth also uses this move as a follow-through from the elevated double chickenwing, or a counter to a lucha roll.

Canadian Backbreaker
Beth lifts her opponent like a powerbomb, but allows both of their legs to slide by one side of her head and onto her back, this allows the opponent's spine to be placed on Beth's shoulder, with the opponent facing up. Beth usually jumps up and down and rag-dolls her opponent in this position. When it isn't reversed, the move is followed up with a dominator.

Double Canadian Backbreaker
Beth used the double canadian backbreaker at Judgment Day 2008. She lifted Melina off the bottom rope from behind into a Canadian backbreaker before returning with Melina to that same spot and ducking under Mickie James (who was laid across the top rope facing up). Beth proceeded to stack the two women ontop of eachother on one shoulder, carry them out into the middle of the ring and jump up and down with them twice before being knocked down by Mickie James.
