TheGlamazon.com

Domain - Why?

One week before Summerslam, I (Paul) approached Mary with the concept of starting a fansite for Beth Phoenix; my site "ringvixens.com" Nee "wrestlepunk.org", closed down, and I didn't want to start them up again due to lack of interest. I figured that Mary was the biggest Beth fan I knew, and so we agreed. We were going to purchase a site to be our Glamazon fansite.

The next obstacle was the name; everyone knows that the name of a site is one of the most important things. I looked around for a few hours, I toyed with the idea of various hyphenated 'beth-phoenix' style urls, but there are already some of those. Then I came across the thought of "JustBeth", so it was settled, I was going to purchase 'justbeth.com'. Problem. I contacted the owner of the domain because it was going unused.. but they never replied. Back to the drawing board.

I asked Mary if she had any thoughts, she said one thing to me "theglamazon.com" and that was it, she decided the name right off the top of her head, and so I bought both 'theglamazon.com' and 'theglamazon.net' so people could find the site easier. And that's the story of how the site came about.
